PATNA: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) will soon be restructured and connected to an online platform to increase its connectivity among the members, according to NYKS national vice-chairman V D Sharma.
Sharma, while addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, invited youngsters to join Sangathan’s Youth Club and work for social change. “The old rules and regulations which framed in 1972 needs a change.
There is no basic structure in the organization which often disrupts its functioning. So, after reviewing situation in several states, we decided to build structure by creating several official posts. In support of PM Narendra Modi’s view of Digital India, we aim to open Youth Clubs at each village and connect them through an online platform where youth can share their views and ideas for development of their respective villages. Youngsters of towns and cities are also welcome to join the programme,” he said.
The Sangathan will start Youth Leadership Fellowship programme where altogether 360 youngsters will be selected to work at district level to submit report about implementation of government schemes and development.
